Crystal Semitekolos

Crystal Semitekolos grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a bachelor's in Elementary Education, Loyola University Maryland with a master's in Educational Technology, and a master's certificate in Administration from McDaniel College. Crystal is currently serving her third year as Staff Development Teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools. Prior to becoming a Staff Development Teacher, she was a classroom teacher for 9 years teaching grades 1, 2, and 3. Fun fact: Crystal started her teaching career at the same elementary school that she attended! 🙂 In addition to being a classroom teacher, Crystal was a Lead Tutor/Program Coordinator for the CARES tutoring program in MCPS for the three years.
Crystal's passion for education leads her to want to help students grow beyond the school day. Every child has amazing potential and a unique learning style. It's Crystal's goal to find out how to best support children in achieving their educational goals. Crystal also enjoys traveling, playing sports, and spending time with her family and her dog, Rhea.
