Yosohadara Rivera

Spanish Tutor

Yosohadara Rivera was born and raised in Camuy, a coastal town in Puerto Rico. She has been a language teacher in Montgomery County Public School for three years but started as a Spanish Teacher in Puerto Rico nineteen years ago. She has a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Puerto Rico (Mayaguez Campus), and a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from the Sacred Heart University (San Juan). She wrote a fantasy novel named Kala to acquire her Master's Diploma with distinction. She is a dedicated teacher but in her free time, she enjoys reading, admiring Maryland outdoors, and traveling to her beloved Puerto Rico to share with her family. Her eclectic interests and experiences have shaped her way of teaching and curriculum planning.
