Aisha Sidibe

English/Executive Functioning Coach

Aisha Sidibe is a writer who joined the High School English department in 2019 after serving as an adjunct professor at the City University of New York where she received praise for her classroom treatment of complex topics—racism, masculinity, and disability—while also attending to matters of craft. Herself a mother of two boys, Aisha also founded an organization serving mothers in the Bronx. She received an MFA in nonfiction writing from Hunter College and brings her passion for all things arts. She is a single mother of Haitian, Cuban, Ivorian, Malian, and Bronx heritage, speaks four languages, and loves interior design, soccer, and event planning.
