April Henderson

April grew up in Westchester, New York right outside of the city. April has enjoyed teaching for the past 5 years in a non-public school in Maryland, Alaska, and now in Montgomery County Public Schools. She graduated from American University with a degree in Elementary and Special Education as well as a post graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from George Mason University.

April loves working with students who need a little extra support to reach their goals in school. April loves supporting students so they can gain confidence and skill with reading, writing, math, and executive functioning skills. When April isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her partner, taking dance classes, traveling back to Alaska and cuddling with her dog, Lexi and her cat Freddy.
