Casey Smith

Casey Smith attended the University of Maryland where she earned an undergraduate degree in Mathematics as well as a graduate degree in Secondary Education. She is certified to teach grades 7-12 and currently works for Montgomery County Public Schools as a high school math teacher. Casey currently teaches Algebra I, Algebra II, and AP Statistics.

Casey is passionate about math education because she knows that the perseverance and critical thinking skills that students gain through math set them up for success. She loves breaking down the processes to prove to students that math can become non-intimidating and even enjoyable!
