David Delgado
Spanish/Math/Executive Functioning Coach
David is currently a Spanish teacher in MCPS. He grew up as a heritage speaker learning Spanish at home through his family then continued his growth by taking coursework at Wootton HS and the University of Maryland. David graduated UMD with a double major in Spanish and Education, while also receiving a minor in Leadership Studies. David has also been tutoring his peers in Math and Spanish since 2016.
With his eagerness to teach, David focuses heavily on communication. He aims for his students to communicate in real-world scenarios by emphasizing the importance of circumlocution and culture.
Other than being a teacher, David also coaches a middle school soccer and basketball team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
