Elon believes every student possesses a unique voice and a distinct way of processing the world. With more than nineteen years of experience teaching high school English in Montgomery County Public Schools, his mission as a tutor is to help students discover that voice, gain confidence in their academic abilities, and develop systems that reduce the stress surrounding schoolwork.

Whether a student is struggling to analyze a complex text, feeling paralyzed by a blank page when writing an essay, or becoming overwhelmed by deadlines and misplaced assignments, Elon provides a compassionate, structured environment in which they can thrive. He begins by understanding each student’s individual learning profile, interests, and current sources of frustration. His approach is highly personalized—there are no one-size-fits-all templates.
