Gwen Rosero is an experienced middle school educator and Staff Development
Teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools. Her background includes teaching 8 th
grade Humanities and English, serving as a team leader, and supporting gifted and
talented learners. In her current role, she works alongside teachers to strengthen
instruction and meet students’ learning needs. She brings particular strengths in reading

enough to ask questions. Her approach emphasizes understanding each student’s
strengths and areas for growth, breaking challenging tasks into manageable steps, and
providing clear, actionable feedback. She strives to help students become more
independent learners who can explain their thinking, advocate for their needs, and
approach new challenges with confidence. She also values collaboration with families to
establish meaningful goals and celebrate progress beyond grades alone.
Gwen holds three master’s degrees, including a Master of Science in Innovations in
Teaching and Learning from McDaniel College. Her experience as both a classroom
teacher and an instructional leader informs her commitment to making learning
engaging, accessible, and purposeful. She looks forward to partnering with families to
help students strengthen their skills and take pride in their growth.
