Jamie Tarnopal
Math/Executive Functioning Tutor
Jamie grew up in New Rochelle, New York right outside of the city. Jamie has enjoyed teaching for 5 years now in Montgomery County. She graduated from American University with a degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics.
She wanted to continue her passion for education and helping her students, so she attended American University again to obtain her master's degree in special education with a concentration in specific learning disabilities. Jamie remembers having multiple teachers and role models who guided her to be successful. She now wants to give back to her students in the classroom and to her tutees. When Jamie isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, and cuddling with her dog Max, while reading a good book.
