Jess Silverman

Jess grew up in Montgomery County and recently graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Political Science and minors in Journalism Practice and Criminal Justice. Throughout her time at Northeastern, she worked at the Mayor of Boston's Press Office, the Northeastern School of Law, and a local Boston public affairs company called the Novus Group.

She has experience tutoring students of all ages in writing and assisted in teaching professional development skills to those who speak English as a second language. She currently works part-time for the Burnes Center for Social Change as a Communications Consultant. Jess will begin her master's degree in Politics and Communication at the London School of Economics this fall.

Her undergraduate senior capstone project centered on education and learning following the COVID-19 pandemic, and she is passionate about supporting students throughout their academic journey! Jess enjoys podcasts, live music, playing guitar, and trying new TikTok recipes!
