Joni Lucas

By day, Joni Lucas is the editor of a magazine for an international
professional association of community management leaders.
Armed with a practical approach, patience and a sense of humor, Joni is
comfortable working with contributors to improve and polish their
writing. Along with her current role, Joni has held a variety of
communications roles throughout her career including reporting,
writing, social media, public relations, and photography.
Along with her professional experience, Joni has volunteered at the
Walt Whitman High School Writing Center helping students with their
school assignments and college essays. She also helped her children
and their friends with their writing assignments and college essays.
A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, Joni is the
proud parent of three young adults.
