Rebecca Poyatt

Rebecca Poyatt holds a BA in history education from The Catholic University of America and both a Masters in children’s literature and language arts and an Education Specialist degree in educational theory and practice from the University of Georgia. She has been an elementary and middle school classroom teacher and learning specialist for 15 years and a tutor for grades K-12 across the DMV area. She is currently teaching middle school English at The Field School in Washington, D.C., and working to develop reading and writing curriculum for the middle grades.
