Siobhan Alexander
OG Reading Specialist
Siobhan Alexander has worked in education for over 25 years. She holds a BS in Elementary Education and Math & Science Studies from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Masters of Education from John Hopkins University. Siobhan is a state certified reading specialist and also has a Dyslexia Graduate Certificate from the University of Florida (home to the UFLI institute). She has worked in a variety of teacher and leader roles in Montgomery County Public Schools, and is currently an elementary school reading specialist.
Siobhan is so grateful that structured literacy and the “science of reading” has become the primary way of teaching reading, and she is excited to support early readers, as well as striving readers, to become strong decoders as well as develop a love of literacy.
