Sung Hee Kim Orton-Gillingham Tutor/Math Tutor/Executive Functioning Coach Sung Hee has 21 years of elementary teaching experience in independent school settings. She has a Master's degree in Journalism from New York University, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Wellesley College. Sung Hee is a graduate of Phillips Academy, Andover. She became a trained Orton-Gillingham teacher in 2021. Sung Hee was featured as an Extraordinary Educator in 2017 in the Sept/Oct issue of Bethesda Magazine. Her articles on education and diversity are featured in St. Andrew's Episcopal School's Center for Transformative Teaching and Leaning's Blog, "The Bridge" and Magazine, "Thinking Differently and Deeply." Sung Hee is currently a first-grade teacher and Lower School Diversity Co-ordinator at St. Andrew's Episcopal School. Sung Hee cares deeply about boosting student confidence and empowering them to shine.
