Taylor Moyer

Tayor has taught math and science for more than fifteen years, with a particular focus on helping elementary learners build strong mathematical foundations. She grew up in England, completed all of her schooling there, and later earned a master’s in science from King’s College London before beginning an international teaching career that eventually brought her to an independent K-8 school in Bethesda. Her teaching style centers on developing confident, flexible problem solvers who understand number sese and feel capable when facing new challenges. Taylor’s tutoring approach emphasizes clear strategies, noticing relationships between numbers and a steady growth in confidence, helping her students move from hesitation to genuine self-assurance. Outside of the classroom, she loves travelling with her family and visiting new museums.
